Adaptive immune recognition in tumor control and autoimmunity with cancer immunotherapy

Welcome to the website for the Laboratory of David Oh, in the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine, UCSF!

Research in the Oh Laboratory probes how the adaptive immune response interacts with cancer to lead to both beneficial and harmful outcomes after cancer immunotherapy, specifically tumor control and autoimmune side effects (immune-related adverse events). Our work is highly translational in nature, involving discovery of novel immune phenotypes in cancer patients using high-dimensional and unbiased interrogation, as well as functional validation in model systems.
